Keens curry is a little expensive, but you have to know that it is my favorite curry powder and it goes without saying I will always try to hunt it down when I run out. It is just terrific with chopped up hot boiled eggs and spread on bread and butter. The butter just melts through the eggs and curry and the sandwiches are awesome - just like mum used to make. I have yet to find another curry with the same flavour. This is most like the curry my Mom would use for the leftover lamb or beef or chicken when it came out as leftovers back in the 50's and 60's: tangy, sharp, fragrant and a spice that made leftovers something my brother and I looked forward to. And it made the accompanying rice great!.Curry powder here isn't good enough. Expat Aussie here, I needed the real taste of curry..yayThe one and only Keens. Maybe I like it the best because I grew up on it.LOVE THIS CURRY USE IT IN AUSTRALIA AND THE KIDS LOVE ITYes it is expensive but oh so worth it! I grew up using this curry powder back in Australia many, many, years ago. So for those of you that really enjoy curry recipes you cannot buy any better than Keen's Curry powder. This is the real stuff! I have tried lots of different curries and whilst they have that curry taste, there is very little heat. Keens curry gives you the taste and heat of a good curry:) A definite winner!far superior flavor to any US curry powder! Well worth the extra price.
