I put this product to the ultimate test.My hair is fine and I don’t have enough of it to always keep my ears covered. (Thanks Dad) After drying my hair, I applied JUST A TRACE of this powder to the places where I wanted my roots to stand up and when I say I was amazed....that’s an understatement.I work outside and later that day it dumped rain. My hair still looked fabulous! I am always re-adjusting my hair because my ears constantly poke through. I’m ultra self-conscious about it. Not once all night did I have to adjust my hair. And surprisingly, neither the viscosity of the product, nor the volume of my hair, ever changed! IKR?!They should have called this stuff Magic Dust.Tips: • Use just a trace on fingertips • Apply at the roots with just a couple swipes. •Swipe in the opposite direction that your hair grows.You are so welcome.You can not beat the value of this product. Works as stated and much more reasonable than some other. I found that it can leave some build up between washes but worth the price.A little goes a long way. Sprinkle some on the palm of your hand and then use the other hand to grab a little powder at a time to run it along areas of hair that need a little lift. It creates a slight tackiness that helps to keep volume when you tease your hair.This is my first time using texture powder. I'm glad i ignored the comments on this, bc i might not have bought it after reading them. I don't know the standard for texture powders so perhaps most brands pack their bottles completely full, perhaps the texture is different than other brands. Idk, my experience with this product was good, but I can't compare it to other brand's texture powders.I have a silky texture to my hair so it usually falls flat (even with hairspray) and doesn't have much texture. So to dry hair, I started small, only added a few taps on my roots, and wow. I can't believe I've never used a product like this before. For me, it holds similar to hair spray but the hair stays voluminous, and I love using this on a curly/wavy style and spreading it through using a wide tooth comb.I will say that the shampoo I regularly use does NOT wash this out. I have to use twice as much shampoo to get my hair feeling clean again. So I would recommend using a clarifying shampoo at least once a week when using this product, to prevent build up.I didnt like the feeling of touching my hair after using the powder. It leaves my hair really dry and stiff. Feels like I had used some fixing spray..Works well. But the container is not the best. Shaking it on is not the best applicationThe lid wasn’t on good for packaging and the powder was all over the place!It feels like the container was delivered empty but it is just such a fine powder!! Its amazing and I tried it on my fine hair and it boosted it like crazy! It also allows me not to have to wash my hair every single day which is a huge plus for me!!The product arrived in a badly bashed envelope and when I opened the product the bottle felt extremely light. I opened and the powder was all over the place. So I then opened the covering of the bottle and basically it was less than half full. So, I am going to bin this as I am not sure if the vendor has tampered with the product and what's in it. But yeah it was a rip off.Didn't find it plumped my hair at all. Even with the smallest amount just felt as if I'd not washed my hair for a month. Much prefer dry shampoo. Thought I'd try it but it's not for me. Definitely don't recommendI tap a small amount into roots, scrunch hair up and it works well giving volume at the roots. Does leave a strange, tacky feeling in the hair though which is unpleasant if I accidentally put too much in. Less is more with this product.I bought this after watching a review. Unfortunately It is not for me. I have fine hair and wanted a bit more body. I sprinkled a tiny bit on my roots and it made my hair feel so sticky and just downright horrid. I am going to give to my hairdresser!Does the job
