This stuff is super easy to use. I do not use the washing machine instructions. This is how I use the dye: I wash the items I want to dye. Dry clothing completely. I add the clothes to my stainless steel sink. I lay the clothes out so I can determine how much water I need. Remove clothes and fill stainless steel sink with hot water (sometimes I heat it on the stove but not to boiling). When I have added the water I add the dye and start laying in clothes one by one. I move the clothes around with tongs to make sure they are fully saturated. How much clothing you can dye at once really depends on the clothing. In my last batch, I dyed: 1 hoodie, 3 tank tops, 1 t shirt, 1 pair of legging, and 1 pair of capri pants. I could have actually added more. All the clothes came out pure black. I then washed the clothes in cold water with no detergent. If the clothes can be dried in the dryer I dry them on a medium heat to set dye. WAAAY cheaper than buying new clothes.I got the product well in time. It was a perfect color for my flower arrangement project. Moreover it was easy to use. It fixed itself to fabric.Works good and I've used Rit for years. I should have bought two of these and in the summer, when I dye this old winter jacket again I'll by two of them.Somebody in the questions section said that this product worked on velvet.. no. My brand new white velvet pillow cases are now light grey with purple splotches on them, that was from the dark green dye, yikes!I also added two pairs of white cotton panties to the bucket and one turned out great, the other turned out olive green!I'm sure it works for some people but it ruined my beautiful throw pillow cases- for a total of 40$ directly down the toilet.Worked wellLoopring lrc cryptocurrency a buyWorked, but didn't set in the material as i would have liked. I am sure it was the material.Meh. Needed 2 packs for one medium dress. It was splotchy even though I stirred the solution. Needs a LOT of product and stirringDyed a canvas tote. It was truly an arduous process but it was worth the effort.
