I don't typically have issues with scents in my makeup but after putting this on before work I can literally smell my face all day. I use a lavender and vanilla perfume but all I smell is this old lady vanilla/idk what scent that lasts foreverrrrr. I'll finish using it but I'm worried other people can smell it as well and its not overly pleasant. If the product was scented like this and didn't last it wouldn't bother me at all. I don't have a good sense of smell and holy cow sitting here and writing this it is all I smell.Very nice powder and nice coverage. When it popped up on Amazon I felt nostalgic b/c I immediately recognized it as the powder my grandmother always had on her vanity when I was a kid. After reading how much others liked it and the low price, I decided to give it a try. I will say, there is a definite scent when you put it on your brush, but not after you get it on your face. It doesn't bother me, but if you are a person who doesn't like scented makeup, you might want to try another powder. Otherwise, I would recommend.I have never done a review on Amazon before but this product is amazing! I am 34 years old and tried so many powders before. I’ve tried the expensive ones and drug store ones and this one beats them all. This powder is perfect for oily or combination skin. I get oily in my T-zone and this powder completely took away all the shiny spots and mattifys my skin. The smell is not that bad at all, but it does have a baby powder scent to it. I don’t personally think it’s that strong and it goes away after awhile and especially after you spray setting spray over it. A lot comes in the container so you definitely get a bang for your buck. The powder diminishes my pores and goes on so smoothly. I definitely recommend this product to anyone looking for a mattifying, pore diminishing, smooth, light weight, non cakey powder!!! Ten out of ten for me. The photo added is without a flash and no filter.I really like this powder! I have tried many many different kinds and they all seem to bring out my textured skin pores and wrinkles. I was looking for something to achieve a poreless look and something to set my foundation in place, especially around my nose where my foundation seems to come off throughout the day. This one does a better job, however, I recommend using a lot of moisturizer before use because it could make your skin look dry...thats my only complaint. The photo shows how it worked on my nose where I have extremely large pores.New to trying this powder and I love it! It’s the perfect low-cost version of my Laura Mercier powder. And I personally love the scent, it reminds me of my grandma because she used to use this powder too. It’s an enormous value, the tub it comes in is huge! Plus’s all the way around :)Allow me to define the word, "irony" in a whimsical little anecdote I'll call, "Aging Really Sucks". I know that most of the women who read this will know what I'm trying to say. One day you're loving life, turning heads and pretending to bitterly complain to your best friend about cat-calls and unwanted attention from strangers passing by.Inevitably, as we all do, you get older. Now- I'm strictly speaking about appearances, the surface - as shallow as that might seem, it's a reality. Time carries on and the NEXT day, you're walking down the street and it's like you're invisible. It's heart-breaking.So, if you have the means, and even if you don't, you are willing to spend crazy loot to reverse that process and get back some of that glory in the flower.I have spent an embarrassing amount on face powder because I love the "matte" look - the light clean, even surface of a beautiful face. I have spent more on this finishing touch than I'm even willing to admit! But, somehow even the most expensive, the most highly rated powder wound up settling in my pores, bunching in the creases next to my nose and making me miserable. I leave the house thinking I look fresh, only to look in the mirror a few hours later and start rubbing the stuff around to even things out. I wind up taking most of it off and looking even worse! So I bought another chubby pot of highly-rated, grossly expensive powder and tried to "bake" the stuff on my face. It's all the rage, right? Now ask me if it worked. So, I re-read the instructions, bought the kabuki, tried it again - and the end result was still the same.Ah yes, back to irony. Out of sheer frustration I buy Coty Airspun face powder because I remember my mother using it when I was a little girl. That memory led to this though.... let's get down to basics and see what happens. Coty Airspun is simplicity- it doesn't come in 50 different shades, has one purpose, doesn't require a special brush, need time to "bake" or have to be used with other products in tandem to work most effectively.Wouldn't you know, it's Coty that winds up staying in place, not sinking into the pores on my nose, remains even - light and dry - and gives me the look I've been craving. This weekend, I thanked a man who held the door open for me at my local gas station and he said, "I always hold the door open for beautiful women". I thought I was going to fall out. But I have to admit.... it felt pretty good.Stop spending a ton of money on powder for your face. For the price of a "Americano Grande" at your local bodega, you can have the BEST FACIAL POWDER EVER.First time trying this and it really is amazing at preventing/soaking up/keeping away oil and grease.ONLY complaint is there is no tread in the cover so it’s really easy for it to potentially come off and go everywhere ? but I’ll definitely be buying againThis translucent powder is awesome. Great price for the size. It doesn’t cake or sit heavy on my skin and it helps the oiliness that I get after wearing makeup for a good portion of the day. The scent isn’t bad, but it is a little more perfumey than I would like.
