I bought the vanilla flavor, dislike it and can't return for a refund. The texture is gritty and has a strange undertaste. I have limited resources and $32.99 fur one shake hurts, I realize everyone has their own tastes and what doesn't appeal to one may to another. I just know that this tastes horrible to me and I cannot recommend it. I'm surprised that a company in this economy does not stand behind their product by offering a guarantee and return.These shake mixes are so good and far better than any of these fad protein shakes out there AND at a much better cost! I’ve tried a lot and since this is now my second time around purchasing, these are definitely my go to’s! Love them mixed with ice or almond milk, with or without additions like fruit or greens. Shake doesn’t have a chalky consistency and doesn’t have a weird taste from the natural sugar either which is key for me. Very satisfied with this brand and both flavors!Love this stuff! I use it to break my fast for lunchtime after skipping breakfast. I love that it has iodine in it since I used to be deficient in it and could literally feel my thyroid scrapping for some before. It taste great too, I mix it in one cup of water with two scoops for thick chocolaty shake. Then add a little more water after I gulp it up to get the rest of the goody nutrition inside my body. I've tried other meal replacements before but keep coming back to this one as it is my favorite. Great stuff!I bought it hoping it would taste similar to the original formula as it is the same brand. Unfortunately it tastes awful. It has a horrible aftertaste and the formula is very sandy and hard to blend. Nothing like the original Lean 1 formula which I find very smooth and tasty.I really like the product and probably would have given it a 4 but the price fluctuates too much. One month it will be $25 and the next $35. Very frustrating!!! So I usual wind up ordering Naturade Vegan for $24 when that happens. Seems to be the exact same ingredients but Vegan1 may taste slightly better and dissolve slightly better but not worth another $10.My father uses this. the flavor is good, but he noticed that it seems to blend best when a 1/2 banana is added as well. It seems to make it smoother.I used to like this shake. It was my go to for years but it’s very grainy and I can taste the peas. I prefer to use 100% all beef protein instead. I’m not vegan but I have a diary sensitivity. Whey makes me breakout and bloated.Tried the banana and chocolate before the vanilla. Vanilla is very good. This product is a bit gritty if not mixed properly. I usually add fruit to my shakes. I will continue to buy this product and would recommend all of the favors to anyone interested in a vegan protein mix.
