I really enjoy making my morning smoothies with this. It taste good and organic. Thank goodnessThis 3.5 oz resealable bag of Super Green Juice (by Wilderness Poets) contains green color powder. It is USDA organic, Non-GMO, Vegan, Gluten-free, has no added sugar or salt.I tried it out in various liquids. In 1 measured cup of room temperature water and 1 tablespoon of Super Green Juice, the powder dissolved well with vigorous stirring. This mixture had an earthy taste; I did not like it. After I drank the entire cup, I did not notice any clumps at the bottom of the mug. Some bits of the powder were left in my mouth. So, I drank plain water to wash it all down.On the second day, I followed the recommendation in the description, and used 2 tablespoons of the powder in 16 ounces (2 cups) of water. I did not notice much difference in the taste with 2 tablespoons of powder in 2 cups of water versus 1 tablespoon of powder in 1 cup of water. On the third day, in 1 cup of milk and 1 tablespoon of Super Green Juice, it dissolves somewhat well with vigorous stirring. There are no large clumps of the powder. Once I take a drink, and leave the cup alone for about 1 minute, there are bits of the powder that accumulate at the top layer of the milk. I then stirred some more until I saw smooth green color, and then took another drink. The milk helps to make the powder more tolerable to drink. On the fourth day, I used 100% carrot juice smoothie (bought from store) and added 1 tablespoon of this powder. As with milk, the powder dissolved fairly well. This tasted so much better!Over the 4 days, I did not notice any increase in energy boost after drinking it.The label states each bag has 7 servings. Each serving consists of 2 tablespoons of the powder - this results in 49 calories per serving.Ingredients: alfalfa grass powder, wheatgrass powder, barley grass powder, lemon juice powder, kale powder, astragalus, spirulina powder, oat grass powder, chlorella powderExpiration date is on the back of the package, located at the bottom. Mine expires June 2021.Lastly, there is no tablespoon included in the package. I used my own.If I were looking for a healthy drink, with organic, simple ingredients, this would be something that I would choose. I would just mask the flavor by adding it to a smoothie. As far as the quality and purity of this green juice goes, it's excellent. I can't imagine you would find much better because it is organic, vegan, gluten free and it doesn't contain any GMO's. This is also made in the US, in Oregon, which means it is more reliable in terms of standards and the quality of ingredients. The ingredients are simple and aren't water down with a bunch of filler ingredients and there are no artificial colors, flavorings or preservatives in here. Now, in my opinion, I do think this is a little pricey when you consider the amount you receive. There are only 7 servings in this container. The serving size is 2 tbsp and this is only a 3.5 oz pack. If you intend to drink this straight up on its own with water It might get a little expensive in the long run but if you plan on only using this to add in with other things you can stretch it out further and make it last more.In my opinion, I think adding it to smoothies or on top of meals is the best route to go with this also because of the flavor. It tastes like straight up grass. I'm not find of it in water on its own. I added a little stevia to it to try to sweeten it up but still wasn't liking it very much so I added it to a smoothie instead and found it to be much better that way.I mix a little bit of alfalfa powder in my yogurt daily and drink wheatgrass juice occasionally, so thought this green juice would be great as it has more green goodness in it. The bag is small - only 7 servings - and comes without a measuring spoon (which is ok, but I thought I'd mention in case it's important to some). The serving is 2 table spoons, which you're supposed to mix in cold water, juice or smoothie. It does mix easily, but stays a little gritty (I tried suggested 2 tablespoons in 12 oz of water). It is unsweetened (which I appreciate - so many powders are sweetened with stevia - blech!), but I guess I wasn't prepared for the taste of all those greens on their own... ouch! like drinking pond scum... I find that drinking it from a lidded cup with a straw (and drinking quickly) helps, but I feel like I need to eat or drink something after.I did not notice any obvious changes in my health or wellbeing, but maybe 7 days is not long enough to see results. This is a good value for those that can handle the taste. I personally do not like the way it tastes in a green smoothy. I made some with this and made some with fresh greens. The tastes were extremely different, you could not taste the greens in the regular smoothy, but in this one it was over bearing.
