I can't say what the purity of the product was but it looked very nice - fine white crystals without any visible impurities. I purchased this chemical to use on my rather neglected orchids. Was a bit cautious - it's an acid, though a very week one - so I sprayed it first on several least valuable plants, and since nothing bad happened, I continued with treatment of my entire orchid collection. This stuff seems to be really working: after 6 weeks since the first treatment my plants looked more vigorous, new leafs were pupping up, and existed flowers grew bigger in size. Succinic acid was applied each time at least 2 days after fertilization but I don't recall seeing such effect from just a fertilizer. I am under impression that it does work as a booster.Succinic acid was dissolved in purified water (collected from an AC) at a concentration of 2 g/L and applied every two weeks by spraying late in the evening. Orchid fertilizer was used several days prior succinic acid application. Safety goggles were worn during spraying of the acid. 100 ml of the solution is normally sufficient in most house plants situations.
