I am a coffee addict, with chronic fatigue and a connective tissue disorder.I’ve had a lot of days with upset stomachs from the acidity of coffee, not feeling nurtured and tired.I tried a sample pack from a local store and decided to go all in!First, it’s really sweet! I cut the sweetness by adding a banana which helps with my muscle fatigue; and about 4-6 ounces of coffee (cutting my consumption from a usual venti!) I blend it in my vitamin and it’s a nice way to start my day.After 1 week of doing this, my skin is glowing and feels tighter (EDS affects the elasticity of my skin!) I’m not perfect but this has been helping and a really nice addition to my routine.I don’t normally like stevia, but I feel great cutting out my white sugar id have normally in coffee! Most of all! I don’t have an upset stomach anymore and feel good about the nutrients I’m getting from this “shake”Love the ingredients of this. I wish more of the flavors had no MCT like the chocolate, as I cannot have MCT. Mixes well and isn't too sweet, which I really like.Dissolves just fine in hot coffee. The cinnamon churo is very sweet, but good!I love the other Sun Warrior powders but the salted caramel flavor is sweet and bitter, not sweet and salty. It is just way to bitter for me. I found it to be more tolerable when it is very diluted.So...at first I thought I'd drink this cold over ice. H to the ell NOoo. Yuck. Too thick and gross. YES there is a familiar stevia bitterness following the sweet, but the coffee flavor is overall very good. Here's how I came to love this beverage. First- I drink it* HOT* in a 16 oz mug, probably use 14 oz hot water & a milk frother to mix it well. It is very thick, but as a second (caffeine-free) cuppa in the a.m. I find that I really look forward to this beverage! Two cups of coffee makes me jittery, but throw this in 2nd place, and I have to say- I actually love it. Is really making a difference in the appearance of my skin? I'm 44 and I have to say *yes*! So...I think this stuff is worth getting used to the initial taste/texture. Better than a $$$ skin cream & fits my second cup of hot in the a.m. fix nicely.I make green smoothies for health concerns. This protein powder takes the yuck out! It tastes like cake mix! I have it on autoship!What can I say? I'm a peppermint-bark junkie so I decided to try this. I was looking for something I could put in my coffee & wanted more collagen building properties in my diet since I'm 70 yrs old. I didn't particularly care for it by itself when I put it in my coffee, however the next time I had it I decided to mix it ( aprox. half & half ) with my chocolate protein warrior blend that I've used for a year now because I didn't want to give it up or try & remember which day I was using which one. I fell in love with it because it added just a hint of that peppermint I was looking for, made it just a bit more chocolatey, and it gives me the collagen properties I wanted. I have bought 4 of these containers now so far. These 2 products have allowed me to get off my creamer & maple syrup I was adding to my coffee every day which was making my psoriasis worse. By doing this I don't get as much in each serving which I'm not worried about, but I extend the life of my canister by 14 servings instead of only 7 and get the protein as well. I feel like my diet is just a little bit healtheir now & I look forward to my coffee knowing it's a lot better for me and reminds me of my most favorite thing in the whole wide world- Peppermint-Bark! I hope they bring it back next Christmas even if it is a bit pricey. My 12 oz. cup ends up being about the price of Starbucks White Chocolate Mocha that I love but Oh So much better for me.This vegan collagen is amazing! I have noticed my hair growing quicker (my hair grows very slowly) and my skin looks plump! I will say that I am not keen on the sweetness of stevia but it can be disguised in milk. Tried with water but couldn’t swallow it. Instead throw it into a smoothie of oat milk and berries.Absolutely disgusted this has been allowed. Today is the 10th October 2022 and I received it today. Clearly you can see in the picture tagged the expiry date was 3 days ago! I took a scoop without checking and instantly knew something was off. I check the date and it’s expired! This should not be allowed where a company is selling products that would clearly not make it past the best by date. I have now currently vomited twice due to the scoop I took and I am feeling very ill. Please beware of this and check your best by date!! I would like a refund and a new powder as compensation as this is absolutely appalling.Obviously this is a very good collagen/ protein workout powder from a truly great brand but the taste is difficult for me. I have only tried it with water so far as it just arrived today but hopefully that taste could be masked with other ingredients. Apparently you can put it in your coffee so perhaps I will try this too.The only thing l disliked is the price everything else is great..The taste isn't my preference but good quality product.
