Like most people who are looking at this product I am trying to lose weight. The items that appealed to me are: it's animal based protein, it has very low carbs and sugars, there are choices other than chocolate. For the animal based protein, there is no way i can verify it, so I have to take their word... but Redcon 1 seems to have an excellent reputation in the industry so that is not an issue. On the choices, don't get me wrong, I love chocolate... or at least I used to. Now if I eat chocolate I get a migraine so I no longer eat it... so when I see choices like Blueberry Cobbler, Dutch Apple Pie, Vanilla Shake and Peanut Butter cookie.... i was like... those are the things I eat and why I need to lose weight... so yeah. To do it all with 4g of carbs and 2g of sugar is unbelievable. So how about the taste.... it taste as advertised (I have tried the cobbler, dutch apple pie and vanilla shake (cannot wit for the peanut butter cookie). And while I could not distinguish between Dutch apple pie and apple pie, it is very good. All the flavors are excellent and help with the sweet tooth (with only 2 grams of sugar). How does it work? Well, if you are like me and you've been researching it, you read the reviews of people saying, "I felt full for 5+ hours..." etc. But those are people that don't each much to begin with... if you are the type of person that can eat a double quarter pounder with fries and a large drink, a shake with 6-8 oz of fluid is not going to fill you up for hours, sorry to burst your bubble. The good news is, it will curb your hunger for 2-3 hours, especially if you drink plenty of water during the day. But think of t this way, a quarter pounder meal with fries is 1280 calories. This shake with 8 oz whole milk is 280 calories. So you could drink 5 of these and still have about the same calories than the quarter pounder meal. And 5 shakes will keep you feeling full throughout the day and they are better calories. So far, I've been happy and the variety of flavors, hopefully, will mean I will not get bored or sick of a certain flavor.I cannot speak on anything other than my own experience, but after substituting two meals a day with 3 shakes (lunch, middday snack, dinner) I am already seeing consistent weight loss on a daily basis. (It's not all because of the shakes, I've upped my activity level as well).Over the past 25+ years, I think I've had every protein powder known to man. From Myoplex, MetRx, Promax, etc. in the 90s, to Muscle Milk, ON, Dymatize, etc. back in the 2000's, and even using the custom blend websites that used to be popular where you got to pick your own proteins, carbs, fats, and flavors...But, of all of them, I think the peanut butter flavor MRE Lite is legitimately my favorite. I'm just a huge fan of peanut butter in general, but they really captured the salty/sweet mixture perfectly.I'll be buying many more of these in the future. My husband has tried multiple different protien powers and keeps coming back to this. He likes that this has a good taste and is animal based without any whey or soy. All the flavors he has tried are delicious. His one complaint is it doesn't always dissolve fully; there's occasionally chunks in his blender bottle. But when he uses the electric blender it's just fine ?OMG I love this protein powder! Most of the non-whey powders taste nasty, but this kind (I got the PB Cookie one) was DELIGHTFUL! I recommended it to my friend, who got the same flavor and she loved it too! Tastes like a treat!!I've been hesitant when getting new protein powders, they normally end up tasting like ?. I was happy when I tried this. Great flavor mixed well and has helped a lot. Good ingredients is plus. Also not bad when I've added it to my coffee in the morning. One of the best tasting and blending protein powders I’ve tried. Has a little medicine taste which is common for a low fat and low carb protein, but much less than many others in my experience.I got this to try out a meal replacement diet, but didn't want something that would be packed full of calories. I also like that it is made with animal proteins and not soy. The flavor is great too. One of the best tasting protein powders I've ever had, if not THE best. I felt full for longer and didn't feel the urge to break into my lunch before my lunch break. This protein is top tier. It’s not a whey (milk and egg) protein, so if you eat real food, this is for you! Just look at where this protein is derived from. The smell and taste is dam goodI am using my mountain bike every day and this is a nice compliment to add to my food intakeadding mre lite to milk and it tastes really good,i take it every morning before i hit the trackI love the taste of fresh air. Especially when my muscles are exhausted and screaming out for some protein replenishment. ShamblesReally good - and not digestion issues given lack of whey.As others have suggested, I suspect this is a knockoff. I have ordered this before from Supplement King and it was fine. However this bottle had powder pouring out from under the "seal" and under the lid before it had ever been opened. The scoop it normally comes with was way bigger, the powder is more of the texture of flour, and it tastes disgustingly sweet like its been filled with a bunch of sweeteners. So bad I can't even drink it. They also lost my package the first time. The perfect keto protein, with only 2 grams of net carbs, this protein powder tastes like you're cheating. You will literally think you're eating an oatmeal chocolate chip cookie. Even with water, it still tastes amazing and blends with a shake of the hand. No stomach issues or bloating because it's beef based and not whey or vegan. It's not only delicious, but it's filling too.The only drawback that comes with this shake is that the aftertaste lingers in your mouth. Another small issue is that it's not always available and when there is supply, you need to jump on it.
