It's great to have a little tube of happiness in the kitchen drawer! My front door had been sticking quite a bit- now it doesn't!Graphite lubricant is great for metal on metal or metal on plastic where oil-based lubricants would be too messy or would degrade the plastic. This product worked beautifully to stop a door hinge from squeaking. My only complaint would be the container. It does not come with a hole already, so you have to get a pin and insert it in the very small tip, which I found to be difficult. I also had to do it twice because the first hole was too small and no product was coming out. After that, you have to be careful because it can come out in unexpected bursts - but that is more the nature of the product, since it is a powder.I bought this when I moved into a house with a difficult to turn deadbolt. My dad had told me about this type of product long ago, so I tried it and it worked great. I puffed a little into the lock, and it became easy to turn. I have since used it on a door knob and a car door.The only complaint I have is that the hole gets clogged easily, and I have to stick something in it every time I use it to clean it out, but that wasn't enough for me to take away a star.This product is absolutely wonderful. You know how over keys slide and turn less and less easily into keyholes over time? Tube-o-lube is all you will ever need to restore the functionality and and your wrists will probably thank you as well.We had a dead bolt that was getting hard to operate and used this product. It fixed the lock which now operates smoothly. My only complaint is that is that the key comes out with a small amount of black graphite which gets on your hand or clothes.Good for pinewood derbyUsed this for my longboard bearings. Made it glide really nicely. The tube didn't last as long as I thought it would, but I think my expectations may have been too high.Works as described. There is one improvement that should be made. The powder comes out all at once. It should come outin sports.
