I have to say, I am impressed. I've been trying to find red glow powder to mix with resin to make glow in the dark "crystals" for a Star Wars larp we play. The first batch I bought, which was Art n Glow, glowed a orangish yellow. Very bright, and I have used it, but not what I was looking for. This batch, while it didn't come in a light bulb container, is actually red and isn't $35 for the same amount. It is red glow powder though, so it does have limitations you don't get with blue or green. It doesn't get as bright, and it doesn't glow as long. That's just the nature of the beast, and I don't hold it against them. They also sent me two samples: a green that is, as you can see from the picture, VERY bright, and an orange that doesn't glow at all. The glow picture was just from holding it in the sunlight for a few minutes while my kids were playing outside. Didn't take much.I did put the orange in a sun window for a half and hour and it still didn't glow though, so bear that in mind. The red is great for what it js, and I will definitely pick up the green at some point.I want to sincerely apologize to you wonderful folks. My boyfriend grabbed my package from you and placed it in a different area in our home thinking I would of seen it easier, but I never saw it where my boyfriend put it. I just found it & I LOVE ??❤️? it soooo much, I can't wait to try it on everything pink in my current family painting if my boyfriend and one of his beautiful daughters at the Packers Vs Chicago Bears game, three games ago and for Christmas, I'm painting this priceless memory for his beautiful daughter of four beautiful kids of his. Ty so very very much and my sincerest apologies for my previous message. I give you and your AWESOME company a FIVE STAR rating for EVERYTHING & for your AMAZING product & generous amount with a couple free samples of your other two colored Illuminated powders which I'd LOVE to buy next time!!!! I'm also going to be using your big jar of pink illuminated powder to paint a big sized Pink Panther and Inspector Cleauso Illuminated painting using your exciting pink illuminated powder!!!! When I'm done, I'll send you a picture of both paintings once they are complete. I'll be at a big art show Saturday, Jan 15th in Milwaukee and cannot wait to display my "Illuminated powder colored paintings, especially my upcoming Pink Panther & inspector Cleauso painting with your AMAZING bright, bold pink illuminated powder product you guys all proudly manufacture!!!!??❤️????Very sorry for this terrible mix up. Hope no hard feelings & if you have any other samples, I'd LOVE to expierment with and send you the results. ?Just started getting into resin crafts. My best friend loves glow in the dark and pink. Needless to say wow!!! Speaks for itselfI was on the fence about ordering this at first, I wanted to buy it as a gift for my niece to mix into her slime, and I must say I am not disappointed even after just receiving it in the mail. This stuff is amazing. When we got our package, I took a pocket flashlight (one of those cheapo ones you put on a ring of keys) and held it up to the packet and it started glowing right away. It was so bright you could see it plainly in the daylight even. It was absolutely mind blowing. I can't wait to see how her slime turns out, I am sure she will absolutely love this. I also tried charging the packet (it comes in a small zipper bag, but it easy to transfer to a small tub if needed) in sunlight and under a desk lamp, and it glowed for quite some time in the dark (we went to bed and it was still glowing after a few hours!) so it is definitely as advertised! My only complaints are two small things: First off, no instructions really come with this, and the layout of their website is a little confusing, so I didn't find much information there, either. If you know anything about making slime, this should be pretty easy to work out, but if you are clueless, like me, you'll have to take the search elsewhere- there are lots of sites dedicated to this sort of thing, including a wellspring of information across blogs and youtube. The other thing is much more minor, and may be a slightly salty thing, but the second thing is that many people who ordered said they received free samples of this company's other products (maybe you had to order more than one, I only picked the yellow glow powder because I was apprehensive about ordering something new and relatively unknown to me), so I guess I was somewhat looking forward to that, in case the glow powder was a hit (which it is!) I was planning on ordering more (and I will!) but then I could have tried out something else to order along side more of the glow powder. That's slightly petty, so I'll say it wouldn't stop me from reordering the yellow, or any of the other colors. Just don't look forward to samples if you only buy one packet, I suppose! Overall, this was seriously fun and amazing, and I highly recommend it!This powder pigment looks reddish orange but it actually glows red and hot orange.Other than the smell, which is mentioned in many reviews, this is a fantastic red glow.I have painted so much with this powder including the suitcase in the picture. The only problem with red glow is that it does not last as long as other colors such as blue and green. To be completely honest the sulfur smell does not really ever go away. I have put two coats of clear finish on the suitcase and it still smells of sulfur. But I don’t mind, because I know sulfur keeps away evil spirits. ??Red gliws true to the image unlike most company's on here. They also sent some free samples. Great company
