Missing the chocolate flavor other brands have captured. It is very mild. Other than that it is a very fine powder that blends well and is creamy.So, if you are interested in a Keto diet, or are just looking for a meal replacement, this will be a solid option for you. The Protien powder is a great quality and mixes easily in water with no clumping. I do have a mixer ball in my personal shaker bottle, so that helps, but I have had many other protein powders that would even clump up onto the mixer ball. Haha!I'm a bigger guy, a 6'6" and 265 pounds, so I was sceptical about using this grass-fed keto protein as a meal replacement, but with the butters and fats, it really does make you feel full for a good long while on just a single serving. ?The downside though is that the flavor is not really very rich. It's a subtle chocolate, especially when compared to other "chocolate" protein powders. If you mix your shake with milk, or with coffee (great idea if you've never tried it), the chocolate flavor may be drowned out a bit.Other than that... is the smell... this is most definitely a "Grass-fed" protein powder, and if you've ever driven by a farm or cattle ranch, you'll know what I mean. This powder has a distinctly "earthy" smell, which may put you off at first, but when mixed, the smell goes away, and it doesn't effect the flavor at all. Just something to he aware of.Product is good tasting and met my expectation for coffee (hot and/or cold)Like how it blends in things easilyI've been on Keto for about 7 months now. Bullet proof coffee is my morning staple but I have been experimenting. Honestly, I'm not a huge fan of the ghee butter flaver in the original bullet proof coffee recipes. I started doing the Coffee Boosters on Amazon and they are OK however my favorite version of Coffee Booster (Vanilla) has carbs so it's not ideal. Anyway, this protein with coconut oil is awesome! (1 scoop and 1 tablespoon).My recipe:Blend your favorite Keurig cup of coffee with a scoop of Grass Fed Keto Protein powder and a tablespoon of coconut oil and 1/4 tsp. of vanilla. After blended, pour the coffee back in your coffee cup. It will be nice and frothy on the top. Add some cinnamon and then sprinkly erithotol or monk fruit sweetner on the top.This will taste better than any latte or cappacino you've ever had at Starbucks! Indulge completely guilt free! You don't have to be a coffee hound to love this. When I think I've had too much coffee for that day, I switch over to decaf. It's that good!I've been using this as my goto powder for about a week now.For flavor, I'd give it a 7/10. That's actually pretty good. I've never found a powder I enjoy the flavor of, but this isn't offensive in the least, and when blended with a banana for example, isn't bad at allSpeaking of blending, it blends well without leaving a bunch of clumps. To me, that's the most important part of a mix, I hate when I'm drinking it and a big block of powder hits my tongue... Hasn't happened yet with this oneCompared to the brand I usually use from Costco, this one is a slightly better value, and comparable on quality. Once I'm thru the first tub I'll make a decision, but at this point, I think I might be switching permanently!It’s still a little too sweet for me but compared to other products I’ve tried it’s good. I noticed within weeks the effects of the collagen on my fingernails so I know it’s working. Goes well with Keto diet. Put in my coffee.First and foremost, this product is deliscious! I added the chocolate protein to cold brew coffee and it’s the perfect way to break a fast! I love that it has MCT oil and collagen as well. The reason I’m giving it only 4 stars is that it’s only 10 grams of protein per serving. According to a well known keto program you should break a fast with 20 grams of easily digested protein so therefor I’d have to double the dose. There’s only 24 servings total in the $39.99 container. This means this container will only last 12 days. That’s pretty steep price tag. I understand paying for quality but this is a little too much considering the keto diet can be expensive to get high quality grass-fed meat and fats as well.
