This product tastes good but was not thick enough for me. I also didn't like the cans because they're poorly made and I just prefer the cartons. However, the good news is that when you shake the can, it doesn't spill all over you when you open it. If I had a choice to buy this shake again, I wouldn't because it's not as tasty as a vanilla shake. I wish i would have realized that before I ordered it in the quantity that I did. But if you like vanilla cream, I would buy it because of the high protein count.I have been drinking these as my breakfast for years, in several flavors. They taste fine; they're a great way to get a good slug of protein at the beginning of the day with minimal calories. Now, I've learned that the cans (35 grams of protein) are being discontinued in favor of plastic bottles (30 grams).WHY? And I wish I could make the type bigger. I WILL NOT BUY PLASTIC BOTTLES; every industry and manufacturer that is reasonably responsible is moving away from using plastic containers. And the loss of five grams of protein doesn't help, either.I am switching to another brand that makes honestly recyclable containers and tastes decent. And don't tell me the bottles are recyclable; putting a symbol on the bottom doesn't create a market for the plastic. I am not an environmental Nazi, but this was a decision that was easily avoidable and will, hopefully, lose Pure Protein a lot of customers besides me. Really stupid.I have been drinking these for years now. Don't know how much longer I can they are out of my price range.Quality HIGH Protein ShakeThis is the best tasting protein drink I’ve ever had and I’ve tried about 4 different premixed ones. Out of those 4 this takes the number one spot and it’s not even close!As advertised!The protein is really good and last a good while as a meal replacement. However; the vanilla flavoring is just too sweet and after the first week my husband and i were tired of it.Don't care a lot for the flavor but they were on sale for $12.00 so I tried it. It is really good however, diluted 50/50 with milk, on cereal, it adds a good and sweet flavor to the cereal without the sugar. When I bought these they were on sale and EBT eligible, now the price is $2.00 higher and NO LONGER EBT eligible, so I don't guess I'll be buying anymore of them...too bad. They were good for the price!This tastes great, nice to be able to grab and go.
