Like the sheerness and goes on nicely.Works beautifully on foundation without caking or wearing off. I've used this for years.This was what I expected in the size container it stated. Many reviewers have complained they got the tiny size when purchasing this on amazon or a product that seemed different from previous purchases. Very happy with my powder purchase from this seller.I have used this for years. I put it on after my Bare Minerals Loose Powder foundation. I also like to put it on if I am going somewhere after work and my face feels oily. This takes the shine off of my face and makes it feel so fresh.I always liked this product but didn't want to have to keep buying it from Bare Minerals so was glad that I was able to order it from Amazon. This gives such a nice finish that I don't even need to wear foundation underneath it.Have used product for years. Luv the lightness !Upon first glance, I thought I would regret purchasing the illuminating mineral veil. I felt like I was putting on glitter (which is so NOT my approach to make up). However, that day I got a lot of compliments about my facial skin appearance from my dermatologist and my esthetician. At 36, my high sugar diet and sun exposure is catching up with me and causing a lackluster appearance. Apparently this product was just what I needed to brighten it up. I recommend it for its brightening affect...just don't over apply unless you want to sparkle!I've been getting the Bare Minerals Illuminating Mineral Veil for a few years now. Bare Minerals recommends you use a mineral veil after applying foundation. I like to use the illuminating veil instead of the normal mineral veil just because it has a nice shimmer to it, and I love when makeup is slightly dewy. You may want to have the normal mineral veil and the illuminating mineral veil because you really only want to use the "illuminating" type on areas that you want to highlight.Also, I don't typically use Bare Minerals foundation, I use this over top of my Urban Decay liquid foundation.
