I bought this product because of the price and the single ingredient. I don't care about the bland taste because I typically add it to other things (cereal, smoothie, etc.) that provide enough flavor tomask the task of this product.There are 2 things I don't like about this product: the large lid cover require a big hand with a good grip.Before using this product I use other protien powders where 1 or 2 scoops would provide 20 grams of protien, I usually add 10 grams to my cereal so it was easy to determine this amount based on 20 grams per serving, but 27 grams per serving is more of a hassle (need a weight scale to measure to correct amount)to determine how much is 10 grams.This is my first time trying this and it does come with the scooper but the scooper is not your typical size like your normal protein I had to find out the hard way because it was making the shakes super thick because I was using the wrong scooper but when I found the scooper in the container the shakes came out much better I got the non-flavor one because I’m able to add peanut butter bananas different things that I would like to put in it but if you make a little thicker you can use it as a meal supplement which will keep you full for a few hours I’m very happy I will buy another oneDid not come with a scoop inside, so that's kinda annoying. I'm just using my 1/4 measuring cup as a scoop instead. 1/4cup is basically equal to 64cc or 4tbsp, the serving size.EDIT: Found the scoop! It did have a scoop, but it was really buried down deep in the powder, even though the jar only comes half-full because of compacting down during shipping. So go digging in your powder and you'll probably find your scoop.It smells faintly of peas and it will taste like horrible pea chalk if you just eat it by itself. I strongly do not recommend putting this in water. You need to put it in a smoothie or sauce or something so you can barely taste it. I do a morning smoothie every morning: 14 cups spinach and 2 cups orange. It's a huge smoothie and I can still taste a hint of peas from behind the spinach. If you do smaller smoothies, then you might want to do 1/2 serving size so the pea taste doesn't overwhelm.I doubt many protein powders taste that good unless you dump a ton of sugar and fat into them. So don't expect "pea chalk" to taste good by itself or in a glass of water. Put it in a smoothie or something else and it should be fine, even if you can still taste a hint of peas.UPDATE:While the plain Naked Pea powder is fine, I really wanted the taste of peas to be toned down a little.... but I didn't want to add bananas or anything else to my smoothie. So I decided to try out the Vanilla Naked Pea powder. It's PERFECT. Having that bit of sugar and vanilla in the powder totally knocks down the strong pea taste and my smoothie tastes great again.I don't think you have to have the vanilla or chocolate favored version if you're putting enough stuff in your smoothie, but if you think the plain pea protein is still too strong, then definitely try out the vanilla or chocolate version. It makes such a difference.I did also try out the vanilla flavored KOS protein powder because its rated as the "best tasting" by many websites. I did NOT like it. It was 10000x times TOO sweet. It was giving me a headache and a stomach ache it was so sweet. It was so overwhelming that even with 14 cups of spinach, I couldn't taste ANY of the spinach, all I could taste was an atomic bomb level of vanilla sweetness. That is seriously strong stuff to be able to overwhelm all of that spinach in my smoothie.So I'm definitely sticking with Vanilla Naked Pea. Just a bit of sweetness to make it pleasant and hide the pea taste without giving me atomic bomb levels of sweetness that literally cause stomach aches and headaches and make it impossible to taste anything else in your smoothie.I do NOT recommend putting plain Naked Pea in water to drink. Definitely need to put it in a smoothie or something else. But you might be able to put the Vanilla or Chocolate version of Naked Pea in water and be OK. It really does knock down almost all of the pea flavor, so the main thing you're tasting is vanilla or chocolate, even in plain water.I have read all the reviews on this product. Reviewing the unflavored version.1) initially really difficult to get the cover off, I really needed to give it all my might. Ended up running a knife around bottom to break the seal a bit, then I was able to pry it open.2) product itself is fantastic. Dig deep for the scoop (it’s in there)3) one serving mixes great with just about anything.Really happy with this plant based protein option.As part of my muscle growth program, I tried more than 20 brands of vegan protein powder... All of them made me nauseous within minutes of ingestion and my stomach was not happy for hours. This Naked Pea protein powder does not make me nauseous at all and is so digestable - I feel fed instead of full. I finally got all the proteins I need to shape up my shoulders and I saw a real difference within two weeks of daily consumption (2 times 30g) without having changed my training routine.I bought the unflavored Naked Pea. I mix the powder with a very flavorful, low calorie, sugar free, fruity soda. The resulting drink is pallatable, smoothie-like, and quite enjoyable. I must admit I am looking forward to my fruity drinks every day.I started my second 5lb tub a few days ago. The powder was the same as in the first tub I purchased a month prior.During my fitness journey I tried a lot of supplements and wide range of powders, bars, chips, everything! I'm at a point where I get all my macros and calories from whole foods. I love that this protien only has one ingredient in it. I dislike all the additives in other protien powders that make you feel full but it's actually making you blotted off of not great ingredients. To me, the less ingredients the better. 4 to 5 ingredients and under and you will have a healthy fitness life along with nothing processed like lunch meat and hot dogs etc. So with all that being said I enjoy taking this protien due to the one ingredient. I typically take this as an "in-between-er". 2 to 3 scoops in some water a little after breakfast and another a little after lunch, depending on if I've worked out or trained that day. So all in all I am all about this protien and their products they sellReally disappointed that I paid full price for this product and they only fill it up half way? The picture shows a white container but it comes in a clear one that is 50% air. Quite rediculous considering the price. Also very wasteful from packacking perspective.I am absurdly picky with what I ingest and FINALLY I found the protein I was lookin for: no additives, no articial flavors, no 17 inredients that we can't even pronounce. Besides having peace of mind with what I am eating, this protein has a very NEUTRAL TASTE, so it absorbs the taste of whatever food you mix it up with. I normally make a shake with pea protein, banana, blueberries, mango, oatmeal, sunflower seeds, peanut butter and water - it tastes fantastic!)I am vegetarian and I also exercise a lot, and I could see my muscles growing quicker after after a couple of weeks of exercise + protein shake, so IT WORKS!On the top of that, the cost benefit is worth it. Make a market research and you will see for yourself.I am definitely buying it again!Lots of people are complaining about the taste/texture. You don't buy protein powder for pleasure, you buy it for the nutrients. It is pretty chalky, but that doesn't matter if you just chug it down like I do. But I suppose that isn't for everyone. Either way, I am happy with this. It's a good amount of protein for the price, no fillers, non dairy so my stomach doesn't get upset. I would recommend it, as long as you're not super sensitive about taste/texture. It's good if you mix it with some berries/yogurt/almond milk in a blender. Also I like the neon green scoop, not that it matters at all.Tasted horrible, gritty and powdery. I found it hard to drink and digest even mixed with berries and almond milk etc and feel like I wasted my moneyTastes like an early Joe Weider formula I used to favour. However there is no vanilla taste to this product at all which is very disappointing. Guess I'll be stuck with ordering the one without vanilla next time.
