I've been using Blue Bonnet 5 days a week for about 6 yrs. Their vanilla flavor is a perfect base for making protein smoothies using strawberries, or blueberries with an added frozen banana & fresh spinach with the blueberry shake. I've tried several protein powders but usually don't care for the flavor. They usually don't mix clump free as well as Blue Bonnet. Other brands also usually require 2 scoops vs. 1 for the same or less protein content. The only complaint I have is they recently changed the size of their scoop using a little more powder but never answered my question if the protein content changed when I wrote them.This is a great tasting protein drink. I use the vanilla flavor and it is very good. I add blueberries and almond milk then mix it in the blender. It comes out frothy and delightful. You can add ice if you want it super cold. Delicious!!Have been using this product for years and very happy with it.the vanilla taste awesome!!!Take before and after workoutsI'm not sure I use this protein powder the way most people use it. I add it to frozen strawberries & frozen mangoe almost every evening - because it's not ice cream (fat & sugar), is healthy/doesn't contain bad things, and its very satisfying.Met expectations - quality & price.I've been using BlueBonnet's whey protein powder products (varying flavors) for about 5 years now. I've always been highly satisfied with the quality and taste of these products and would've given them a 5 rating up to about a month ago. I recently ordered the Vanilla to restock my supply, but have been highly disappointed. I have to agree with other reviewers that something has changed with their formula as of late. The very first thing that came to mind when I tasted my first shake from the new container was how it tasted like it had chemicals in it (as another reviewer also mentioned). I too will reach out to the company to inquire about the change. I do hope they can/will revert back to there methods/ingredients from prior years of making this as it used to be a top notch, high quality, great tasting product. Keep ya posted...
