I reordered correct size, easy return no hassleI love the coat it runs very small. I have several Columbia coats that run small so I buy 1x which fits perfectly. So I ordered this in 1x I should have not had any problem with it, I could zip it up but it was so tight in my waste and my bust area. It actually was fitting like xl. I will be returning it .Beware of the sizing! Make sure to check hip dimensions as this is where is very narrow. Better suited to a slim streamlined body, not for a curvy bodyMy wife loves the jacket. It's plenty warm, very light, and fits very well. Regarding the fit, I followed other buyers' advice to order one size larger than what the person normally wears, and that worked out great (my wife wears a small, and a medium fit her perfectly).My daughter wears a small. We ordered a medium. She tried it on with a crew neck sweatshirt. The upper arms/shoulders were too tight. The large size would have worked, however the size was sold out. Also, my daughter did not like the waist cinching/stitching design. We went with a size medium in a different Columbia coat that was similar, but did not run small and did not have the cinched look at the waist. I loved the price of this coat, but paid a bit more for a different and better option.I've been wanting a Columbia winter coat with the reflective lining, but have not been able to find one near me, so I ordered this one on Amazon. Kohl's had a Columbia one in a size small that fit me perfectly, (not as long in length as this one), but the entire inside was not lined with the reflective material. Large sections on the bottom and under the arms had none, so I looked online for one that worked for me. I ordered this one size larger than the one at Kohl's - a medium - but it was still way too small. I could get the zipper zipped, but it was very tight and form fitting. I like my winter coats to be a bit roomier so I can wear a heavy sweater under them if I desire. No way that was happening with this coat. I do have wide hips, I am 5'2" and weigh 122 pounds. Still, most small coats of many different brands fit me. The sizing on this one is really off, in my opinion. It's being sent back.I wanted to love this jacket, but first of all they run small. Next, the hips are not wide enough, you have to be the same size in the hips for it to fit right, but I have a curvy figure, so my hips just didn’t fit. I ended up going with the shorter one that did not cover my hips. So I really love the Omni heat feature. It really keeps you warm. I also love that it’s not super bulky like most puffers. Overall it’s great, just needs to be more generous in the hips. I have purchased several as gifts (Large) and all recipients were extremely happy and the fit perfect for them. I purchased a Medium for myself in blue and my size is a US 6 , UK 8. I am 5' 3" and 110 lbs. Great fit nice quality and the Omni heat material inside is the key to keeping you warm.Tengo una igual de otra talla comprada en Columbia. He comprado una igual en Amazon pero de otra talla. La original lleva la marca bordada con hilo y tiene un bolsillo interior. La comprada en Amazon tiene la marca pintada y no tiene bolsillo interior. Sienta mucho mejor la original que la comprada en Amazon. Es de peor calidad!!! Lo pondré en conocimiento de la marca COLUMBIA por si no fuese original.Really love this jacket! Light weight but keeps you so warm. I’ve read reviews about sizing- I typically fit a M to L and tried both sizes. The M was snug and the L fit perfect so no concern about sizing for this jacket. I’ve worn it in the rain and the top layer will absorb water but it is very water resistant and I have not had my clothes under get wet yet. The coat also dries off very well. Zippers are all strong and work well. Pockets have a nice fleece lining. Highly recommend!The jacket is lovely, beautiful colour, nicely cut but way too small. I am still struggling to admit that I may be size 14 and thought that a large size will be fine, but it is way, way too small.I am still giving it a five stars rating though I had to send it back.
