These are great for ice/snow... very warm and grippy. Unfortunately they run narrow and have little to no arch support. If I hadn't worn them outside I would have returned... they do work well on the ice.I don't want to give the product a bad review since I didn't really try it, but the first thing I noticed was that there was a bit of dirt on the bottom. I told myself someone probably just tried it, didn't like it, and immediately boxed and returned. But when I looked inside the shoe, the white fur was a bit dirty. Whoever tried it had dirty feet. Then I noticed there was also quite a few stands of hair inside the shoe. One would have been weird. There were about 4! Gross.Purchased for a trip to Canada. The arctic grip sole is why i chose this boot. Look great but a little big. I just padded them with a sheepskin insole and fit good now. Appears to be good qualityEdit: now back from Canada. These boots worked great in the snow. It wasn’t quite as icy as usual on my trips but we did get about 10” of snow while there. I never slipped once and never used my ice cleats. Boots stayed pretty warm overall. One day the windchill was around -10F and i did use some hothands toe warmers just to be on the safe side. I am very happy with my purchase and am considering another pair in a different color.Really like these. I had been looking for boots for literally years, but could never find any that seemed worth buying. I live in snowy weather territory, so I knew I wouldn’t be able to get away with gym shoes every year. These are relatively warm. I haven’t used them in 0 degree weather. I always get a half a size up to fit thick socks and this method worked well with these boots.I bought these after sliding down our driveway while clearing snow wearing my LL Bean snow boots. The grip on these really works! They are so comfortable. Love the lining too! I highly recommend these boots!I didn't try these on ice, and the soles looked like they had pretty good grip, but the body of the boot is loose and stiff so it seems that they would cause you to shuffle.Well made. Great soles. Look nice.Got these for my mom - she's a 7.5 wide, I got her a size 8 and they fit well. She loves them, just wishes they were a bit taller. But the tread is great, and they fit her wide foot, so she's happy. Great boot!Love these shorter boots. Easy on. Great fit. I have a high instep so slip on boots can be an issue. Not these boots. Warm enough for Canadian winters. Well made. Light enough for a trip out shopping. Fabulous traction on ice. Although I just recieved them a couple of days ago I have had the opportunity to wear them outside on ice. I also have taller sperry boots that I bought last winter with the same arctic grip. Neither pair disappoints. At my age a slip on ice can be detrimental. Every little bit helps. Thanks Sperry for a great product.I am usually an 8.5 to 9 in shoe size. I got this at 9. I had a similar Sperry boots so I just bought the same size. This feels a bit smaller than the boots I had. Good vibrant soles.Fit is comfortable with medium weight socks. No heel slipping when walking. Not fool proof on ice, but better than trainers. Waterproof and warm throughout a 2-hour walk in the snow.Difficile à enfiler, s'a prend nos 2 mains pour tirer fort. Sur la glace, l'adhésion est faible. Je suis déçu point de vue performance. Par contre, elles sont chaudes comme mentionné.Nice boots, especially for the Amazon price. Sperry is a great brand...good quality. I like these boots very much.
