I am one of the biggest proponents of Vegan Smart. I wish that there were more products like it.A few years ago I was diagnosed empirically by an allergist MD as having a reaction to soy. I immediately started to avoid soy in all forms. In the US it is VERY difficult. When you go into the supermarket at least 85% of what you find on the shelf has soy or 'soy lecithin'. Even many of the products that used dairy whey had soy in them by the very nature of the process used to make them. Soy lecithin supposedly has no protein to react to, but I did. I asked the Allergist about the issue. She indicated that I was reacting to something else - like pesticides or another chemical used to produce the products. I have had Vegan Smart almost every day, since then. It has been several years. Obviously, I like the flavor and texture of Vegan Smart. You will too. I mix it with water, some blueberries, fruit juice, and ice in a blender. It is like having desert for breakfast - only much healthier !
