I had a very bad compound fracture of my femur. After 6 months, I was told that my femur hadn't healed any since my 3 month follow up, one surgical screw had broken, and the rod in my leg had moved, and I would likely be having another surgery to try to reset it and add plates to the fractured area that wasn't healing But he wanted to give it more time first, and see how it looked in 3 more months.
