The price is way to high for the small amount you get and taste is only bearable not too goodMy son who has ADHD is very very thin and with him being on medication I didn't want him to drop any weight so I would give him this shake daily sometimes 2x a day and in a month he gained 4 pounds!! Which were good results on our end. My son loves the taste and has no problem drinking this shake compared to other brands. This is a must get!My son is definitely on the small side and eats very little. He is very much into baseball so his size is starting to become an issue as other kids are getting bigger. This stuff helps him get vitamins and protein since he doesn’t eat a lot. He’s been getting taller a little and I imagine his growth would be a lot slower without a nutritional supplement. Although I wonder if there’s a cheaper alternative finding the right vitamins and protein powder. But this is so convenient we’ll stick with it for now.My daughter is 10 years old and a very picky eater; which has resulted in her being on the low side in height/weight for her age. We started using this product a couple months ago (she loves the taste of it) and has gained 1.5 pounds already. I also feel good that she’s getting more essential nutrients and protein without a lot of added sugar.I've literally spent like over $200 trying different nutrition drinks for my underweight kid. He's 10 and very small, under 2% for height and weight. He's always been small and so are my other kids but he doesn't really eat much so we needed something so he can get his vitamins in and help him grow. We've tried so many different things, and they haven't been cheap, ranging from $30-$50, we even added some things to them to make them more appetizing but he just doesn't like them. I decided to try this and he loves it. Everyday he comes home from school and asks me to make one. I use our Magic Bullet, I put about 1/2 cup crushed ice, 1 cup milk, a tbs of chocolate sryup, and 2 scoops of this powder. Super easy and fast to make, especially with the magic bullet. I ran out of chocolate syrup and haven't bought more yet and he still loves it. Definitely will be our new go to, so glad we tried it. I can't say much for the weight gain as of yet bc it's only been a couple weeks but I'll edit in a couple months to include that info.Allergy friendly and decent taste. Mixed with milk, it becomes thick/frothy. Great for getting extra calories in!I purchased this product on a “lightning deal” for $23.99 for my daughter, with hopes that she would drink it to grow bigger and stronger as she’s a very picky eater. She had some and apparently didn’t like the consistency of the product. I was flabbergasted, due to all the higher reviews of this product. So I decided to try some for myself and it’s a bit on the chalky side. It reminded me of liquid PediaSure. I personally don’t like it myself either and I’ve actually started mixing it with my vanilla muscle protein powder just to get rid of it.*Overall, some kids may like it but mine didn’t. Might need to go back to the flavor drawing-board on this one, as I know there’s some adult protein powders out there on the market today that have waaay better chocolate flavoring than this children’s brand.Seems like a lot of money just for protein powder, whey protein concentrate being the main ingredient. My daughter likes it but my son, for whom I bought this, rejects it, so I won't be buying it again. Honestly, even if he did like it, I would strongly consider just giving him my protein powder instead. I need to look at the study they claim proves this helps kids grow. Unless it's an identical twin study, which would seem unethical to only give one child the protein powder, I don't see how you can make the claim. Sure, if your child isn't consuming enough protein then of course giving them the recommended amount of protein will help them grow. I think their marketing preys upon parents' insecurities about the short statured children and uses their "expertise" of being Physicians as a reason to buy this. Hey, it worked on me, but not again.
