Alum powder for underarm

For underarms sweating and perspiration, dust a very small amount of alum powder to your underarms. It works by killing the bacteria that causes body odour. Use it only every other day.

For blackheads on your nose, make a paste of alum powder with water or rose water and apply it on your blackheads. Leave it on till it dries and wash off. Don’t rub as that will irritate your skin.

For treating acne and pimples. Make a face pack with powdered alum and multanimitti and apply it to the affected region. Even if you simply apply a solution of alum and water to the acne and wash it off after 20 minutes, you should see some improvement over a period of time.

If your heels get dry and cracked, take a teaspoon of alum powder and mix it with coconut oil. Rub this mixture on to your heels. Do it regularly and your heels will be as soft and smooth as a baby’s.
