The main concern with African American Natural Hair is the texture and how it feels. Most of the time it's dry and feels like straw, very unpleasant to the touch. I work out six days a week and I do Hot Vinyasa Yoga, 3 times a week, and Ashtanga 2 per week, sweating excessively. I have searched hi and lo for a product where I felt confident enough to workout and I'm able to maintain my hair at the same time. I was almost to point of returning to a relaxer or just go back to my wigs. FINALLY, I have found a product that keeps my hair moisturized and SOFT! I'm totally amazed. This product has given me new found hope that I can remain natural and have an active lifestyle at the same time. Please never go out of business!!!Good stuffA much milder protein reconstructor than I need. Otherwise, the product itself is quite good. The fact that it has conditioning benefits for the scalp is a nice feature of the product.I wouldn't say I love this stuff...I used it a long time ago and I don't remember being able to tell a diff. I know it didn't leave my hair feeling bad at all though...I will repurchase to be able to give a fair review. Next time I will get two packets, I have a lot of hair, so that may be why I didn't see/feel a dramatic difference.This stuff is ok but when there are just so many more things out there that are even at the grocery store I would much rather use to get a better result. The protein feeling I get is missing and while I am not denying protein in its mixture, you don't feel it. Protein packs a punch and this lacks execution. Want protein? K-PAK Protein Treatment. It's expensive but gets that protein packed in. I only did not check it's ok because the packaging and whole "protein," but doesn't look like protein was there thing made it not ok. I don't buy things that are just ok if I can help it that is why I always search for what works. This works if it is one thing: Free.I love Nutress!!! Great product!!!Great protein treatment.
